Default Be honest. How much do you have invested?

In helicopters I mean. 🙂

All my stuff and junk and tools and batteries probably less than $2k.

I don't buy brand new expensive toys.

I bet there is someone here who has 100 times that.

Come on, brag a little.

I really don't know the $$ but I've been at it for 8 years. Right now I have 11 helis flying and I know it's substantial but I enjoy every minute of it and that's what counts. I'm not foolish enough to go in the hole financially to support the hobby. Everything I own is paid for.

Sometimes I wonder about that as well. I always come to the realization that I'm quite happy with not knowing the actual number, helps me keep my sanity.

Been at this since the 1970s, wild guess probably over 20 grand.

Now if I include all my hobbies ( photography, rocketry, model kits,a good slot car collection ), I would venture a guess between 100 to 150K.

I have a sickness.

In a period of 4 years i have purchased 11 helis (250 to 360 size), build scale modells of them, and sold 7 of them. I invested about 500(euro) each, and sold for about the same price. So i actually own 4 Helis, invested about 2k. I guess that`s not insane.

I could actually work it out. I have a box folder with the vast majority of my heli purchase invoices, bar a few here and there for items that were no more than a few pounds.

I have, in the past, considered sitting down and adding it all up, but I've come to the conclusion that I'd be much better off not knowing. I think I would be totally horrified at what I've spent since I got into helis in 2012. I'm probably somewhere in the £20K to £30K range, possibly more

Be honest.
If you actually knew the exact amount you would be

I cringe at the thought of what I estimate.

When you enjoy a hobby, the price is non consequential.
After 15 years , the only times I thought it was expensive was when you're updating radio equipment.
When I started out I bought a new fm Jr radio then the dx7 comes out less than 6 months later 😞 A few years go by Dx8 g1 and recently a Dx8 g2 .

Wink This is as good : > As

The guy who want's too know how much did you spend today and when will it be delivered.

How much are you in debt ??? Is a equally fair question isn't it ? = Credit Score

How much do you have INVESTED ???

Tip : It's a disposable income HOBBY - $$$$$ Free Money to be disposed of.

It's always somebodies business to be involved in your business - WHY ?

Because they feel it's their business to be involved in your business -It's THEIR Business

Better than OLD Women leaning over the fence yapping about Shirley's New Shoes.

Funner to look around peoples Hobby Room's - Look at their STUFF !

6 helis, 3 radios, two chargers, tools, spare parts, lots of batteries. Around $12k USD.
Then I have quads, Stadium trucks, and a few planes too.
