Yeah...i don't think the FC or the Servos would handle 22+ volts somehow....

Hi, have you tested the H1? I wonder if it works on a nitro heli and how well it does on inverted flight by flipping a switch for auto invert.

I've just got one of these H1 flywing. On the box it says supply voltage 5v to 8.4v so they've changed something meaning it's no longer a HV system only, so i can use it with 5v servos. Also the download software has changed from 1.6 to 2.75.It looks like they are supporting it unlike DJI with their abandoned Naza-h.

Thank you. Also, I found another youtube from Ali Shanmao on a H1/450/radio combo package although he's selling them too so his opinions may be a little biased.

Just to be on the safe side i e-mailed Flywing to ask if you really could power the system with 5 volts and use 5 volt servos.I received a prompt reply and they said Yes you can.John Salt must have a slightly earlier version which was a 6.4 to 8.4 volt system.

" looks like they are supporting it unlike DJI with their abandoned Naza-h."
anyone know if there is any DJI product with GPS that supports single rotor flybarless? I was looking at their site, and could not find any that offers flybarless single rotor. I was looking for a currently firmware supported product, but had no Luck. Are there any other FBL+GPS systems besides flywing that are currently supported out there? Thanks in advance.

DJI abandoned helicopters just like Walkera did in favour of Drones.Check out the Spirit pro GPS which is also well supported.I've had the Naza-h for a few years now and it's pretty good and reliable with limited functionality as compared to what's available now.The Flywing will even fly pre-set manouvres on it's own.and costs a lot less than anything else.

It does as per the product descriptions (fly in circle, figure 8, return home, GPS mode etc). Position hold is more accurate than Naza H that I am also using on my other helis. It holds position and maintain altitude better IMO compared to Naza H (probably due to more recent technology). About the reliability, the jury is still out. I hired a guy to install and set up for me.

John Salt has done a complete tutorial with the H1 installation.I'm afraid the H1 is s-bus only(no ppm).

That's what the guy who installed H1 for me mentioned too. As such, I had to sell my Futaba 617FS receivers and buy the 6303 SB to go with the H1.

Using Jeti, UDI does not work, however PPM works fine.

From the manual

3. Support multiple receiver, receiver input supports PPM, S.bus and other mainstream single-line mode, automatic identification......

To think we used to fly helis in the 70's with 4 channel 27Mhz systems and no gyro.
