![]() I have a 350 QX3 that I have put a CGO2 with gimbal on.
Is the camera supposed to be proportional with the knob? Mine is either all up, or all down. Thanks, Any help would be welcomed. Chuck |

![]() For the QX3, the gimbal control requires a 7-channel (or more) transmitter.
You would assign the knob to Aux2, and also assign Aux1 to a switch. Leave the switch for Aux1 in position 0 (Aux2 controls gimbal), as opposed to position 1 (throttle controls gimbal). Then the knob will set the gimbal angle as desired. |

![]() Yes, that is how I have it, but when I turn the knob, the gimbal just goes up all the way, or down all the way. There is no adjustment.

![]() I'm afraid I'm out of ideas then.
I also notice that you need to make some adjustments to travel on Aux1. It wants 140% on the + side and 120% on the - side. I believe that was done to tell the system you have a programmable transmitter instead of the DX4 that came with the RTF kit. If you got those other transmitter setup details then you probably got this one too. I remember that the gimbal control on the QX3 was quirky but I don't recall all of the details. Transmitter setup was a huge portion of it. For grins you could try using the throttle stick option instead and see if that makes a difference. Without the motors started, flip the switch for Aux1 to position 1 and then CAREFULLY (in case this fails for some reason, don't be anywhere near the props) use the throttle stick to try to adjust the angle. It should work on the ground before flight. |
