I’ve gone back and forth between Brain and Spirit. Currently I’m happy with Spirit. I wouldn’t be surprised if I go back to Brain eventually.

I just want to know why Graupner is not listed.
Doesn't seem to be known around the world.
This was the first FBL which you can setup complete only by transmitter.
No computer or app needed. And it works really nice and easy.

I have 3 flying ikon2 units, one Vcontrol/Neo setup that needs a new home (Kraken 580), and a Spirit Pro with Geolink I bought to toy around with. They’re all great systems, but I still like the ikon/Brain FBL’s the best.

Really happy to see that the majority of voters are using Brain. I think people are finally starting to realize that you don't need to pay big money for big feature sets.

Wonder what this poll would look like if only the pro's voted. It's not just about the money, trust me. What's shocking is all the Spektrum Tx voters like other FBL units over Spektrum. Hmmm.

Not really shocking to me.
I fly an old JR 9503 that is Spektrum compatible. I recently upgraded to a DX9 just for telemetry but have not switched over to it yet. I stayed Spektrum compatible since I often buy BNF toys that I like to fly with the same transmitter (planes, racing quads, VTOL heli, boats, micro helis, etc).

I have traditionally flown VBARs, Bavarian Demons, and Neos. I recently purchased a Brain2 for my Oxy 5 whenever I get around to finishing it. I may try a Spektrum some day or any other popular unit.

For me, it's all about compatibility and choice. I locked into Spektrum as a common reasonably priced transmitter I can fly anything with. Beyond that I don't want to be locked into any particular brand even though surprisingly enough I fly mostly Logos.

I really can't keep track of all the equipment or all the clones. I solicited help and went with it. Yes, I left out the units identified as clones since Helifreak tries to support the few legit brands. I won't turn this into a clone/no clone discussion. Thats been rehashed enough and does not need to be in this thread. I assume most people who fly clones will pick the poll item that most resembles what they fly. It's completely up to the membership whether they vote or not. I gave it my best shot.
