I'm assuming you will be able to use the Omphobby T6 (about $40) which will bind direct to the inbuilt receiver.

Other great option is the Radiomaster TX16S which will work either with an external receiver (of almost any type thanks to it's multi-protocol module) or if you update the firmware will also bind direct to the inbuilt receiver. I use the Radiomaster with my OMP M2. It's an incredible radio for the money. It will really make you seriously question why we pay 10x more for so called 'high end' transmitters, when the Radiomaster does all they can do, and then some.

No the T6 doesnt have any adjustability, it's all pre-set. In the case of the M2 you can make adjustment in the flight controller on the heli, but not sure if this adjustability will be available in the M1

The M1 is a much smaller heli so not a direct comparison.

The OMPHobby M2 is the heli that's more sensible to compare to the Logo. In all intents and purposes the Logo is just an M2 with a Neo fitted.

The first batches of this heli are being delivered to Chinese vendors. Overseas vendors will have to wait till the end of October. Unfortunately, Sunnysky has raised the price of the standard version with plastic case servos to $239.

There is a deluxe version with metal case servos that will cost up to $40 more. However, that is made in very limited quantities and may be difficult to get.

• Receiver: FUTABA(SFHSS), (S-BUS/DSM/DSMX ports for external receivers)

Once change from what I was expecting (probably for the better) is the inbuilt Rx uses S-FHSS rather that the proprietary OMHobby protocol. This means that it will bind to any S-FHSS transmitter which would include Futaba and any Tx with a multi-protocol module such as the Jumper or Radiomaster. It will not work with the OMHobby T6 transmitter. DSM and SBus ports are there for those with other radio systems.

Note: using the opentx with the new available protocol is great now with telemetry, and I set my M2 V1 with some tame settings (rookie guy) in Normal mode and it is great, you can set what you want obviously, rate, expo... etc, need a gauge ans some time to master the OpenTX complexity but it is worthwhile

No, i don't think so, certainly not outside of China anyway.

OMP are just starting manufacture so i'm estimating delivery end of October to mid November. I certainly cant see it being sooner than that, they aren't yet available to order for OMPHobby dealers.

If that is the price I think OMP have shot themselves in the foot I will have one,but not sure if most people would pay that price

Looking for one, but at that price I'd rather buy 2,5 eachine E160s or 1 Blade 150s with a ton of spares

I'd not take much notice of the placeholder price on Taobao. It's higher than the Taobao price for the M2-V2. No way would OMP be genuinely trying to sell them at a higher price point that the M2.
$239 is the official price as far as I'm concerned.
