Looks great. A better "130X" would surely be welcome by many. BTW someone on RCG just joined my ignore list and it isn't you.

Dang, that will be perfect size for backyard and even indoor flying too! (If you have a big indoor area)

Certainly need to save up and make plan to sneak it in...

It looks like some type of clone...I seriously doubt it's a Blade product

HH doesn't use that style landing gear or Blue Arrow rotary servos

Perhaps a 3D Shapeways frame or similar

And a linear tail servo...YUCK !

Not exactly, any more than an MH frame is a "knockoff" of the Blade product.

Are they going to be for sale?

If so:
Weight?

Interchageability with blade frame?

Can you easily use an outrunner?

Cost?

Shipping?

A carbon fiber/machined aluminum frame is far different from yet another cheap, molded all plastic frame. The only thing that makes this one "special" is simply because it will be available.

From what I understand these are made for a club and won't be for sale sadly.
Looks appealing for a light weight rotary frame.

Nobody said the frame was "special" but that doesn't make it a knockoff, especially as it doesn't have all that much in common with the Blade product. It is designed for rotary servos, for instance.

Anyway, AFAIK, the frames are not being made for a club. Getting US distribution is going to be the problem.

I believe that it is interchangeable with the stock frame, but for rotary servos, and that it will take an outrunner.

Default for those of you keeping score at home

From my discussions with the designer of these frames, they are intended as part of an overall system for the 130X, including bearings, rotaries, tail boom and ABCD gears.

Here are some testing videos:

Tail looks locked in like prison.

Hmm, seems the videos are so well Copyrighted that they aren't viewable online.

Odd, I could see them.

You can also see photos, the video links, and some stuff from the designer here:
