Default Omp explorer spektrum telemetry reciever

Does anyone know if a spektrum 4651t telemetry reciever will work on the omp v2 waiting for the postman to deliver i was going to just use a dsm2 or a dsmx sat but i have this telemetry say fro. My fc6250hx wich has a bind button on it just wondering if anyone used one of these however if it delivers today i will try it and see if it works and post the results

No, it wont work. The SPM4651T communicates with the flight controller by SRXL2 protocol, which is not supported. You need a satellite receiver that uses 'Spektrum Satellite' communication protocol.

Okay i understand thanks i was just wondering because they say its easier with a sat with a bind button on it and i was sitting here and with the telemetry sat in front of me and wondered maybe that would work its all good as i have plenty of regular sats anyway mailman only had junk mail no bird today so maybe tomorow
