Default BeastX Firmware History

I thought it might be useful to post the history(changelog) of all BeastX versions going back to v3.1.3, in PDF format.

It makes for interesting reading if you are a BeastX fan, which I am.

Not always easy to remember which menus apply to which versions and it has become clear that when discussing BeastX issues, we need to be certain about which BeastX version is being discussed

An important addition Vroooom It would have been quite helpful if they had announced these changes more widely at the beginning - it would have saved a lot of unnecessary confusion all round, especially for non-v5.xx users!

I’ve read volumes of info on the BeastX older versions. My first time programming was a D- cause I was in the wrong version manual. It’s great to have you here with your knowledge to steer us back to reality!

Sutty is really the knowledgeable one on the subject - I mostly feed off his knowledge and well informed posts (and my own personal experience of the Bx, of course)

There’s so much bad information out there about the BX firmware being unreliable. I’m tired of hearing you should have bought an Ikon when I have a question (not here though!).

I have never understood why some people are so obviously anti-BX. I think some find the lights a bit confusing but in my experience, they are often the type of people who can't be bothered to properly read a manual either

I have always found the BX simple to use and very intuitive - I particularly like the aspect that you don't need computer interface to change a setting when out flying.

It would take a lot for me to now change over to another FC - I have never had so much as a moment's problem with any of my AR7210BX's.

I thought I was going to like Spektrum’s HX6250. It’s okay but I would not put it in any bigger bird. It doesn’t come close in scope of the array of adjustments available on the BX.

I won't touch the HX6250 - if I am unable to get the AR7210BX in the future, I will still stay with BeastX and go the satellite route.

Default Version 5.2.2 is out!

Hey Sutty, there is a new firmware version when I plugged into Studio X.
Any clues as to what changed?

Thanks

No, I'm still on version 3, lol. There is however a change log on wiki.

We are back into serious lockdown, so I have way too much time on my hands - which is never a good thing

I did however, spend almost 2 hours with a fine gent at Power Heli Shop, Gayle. Great guy and deservedly I can say knows this product through and through. He teaches RC Heli with Alan Jr.. He gave me some wonderful tips to help tune the system. From gyros to understanding the correlation of dual rates and cyclic roll rates per second. And much more, just a great guy flying helis since 1976.

This is a StudioXm update not a StudioX update.

Firmware v 5.3 is apparently close at hand.
