Default Artificial Horizon -ve or +ve to correct forward drift?

It's been some time since I've been able to fly my TRex 500. Last time I flew I tried Bailout Rescue mode (using a separate switch, not as a predefined Bank) and the heli drifted violently to the left when I activated it. Back home I adjusted the artificial horizon settings using StudioX until the swash didn't move visibly when I activated Bailout Rescue mode.

Yesterday, in my first flight since making that adjustment, I found that the heli now drifts forwards, thought not as quickly as it previous drifted left, and am trying to adjust the artificial horizon once again. At all times, under manual control the heli has been flying to my liking.

When I started StudioX today it told me there was an update available, so I updated it to v3.6.2. Then when I connected my BeastX it told me there was firmware update available for it too, so I flashed it from v5.2.2 PRO to v5.2.4 PRO. The Quick Trim Artificial Horizon page now tells me that my Roll Axis and Pitch Axis settings are 0 -- I don't remember what they were after my previous adjustments, but according to the release notes, since this wasn't a 'major' update, all my settings should have been retained, so I must assume they were 0 previously.

Anyway, my question really is which way do I adjust the Pitch Axis to stop the forward drift? Should it be a negative number or positive?

A nice calm day today, so I found out by trial-and-error that -10 solved the forward drift for me.
