Default websites suck

your website suck. they do nothing but freeze up lock up they don't work properly. the shopping experiences awful. I dread having to buy stuff on your website period and you change the website and you change the website and it never works right no matter if I go to desktop site mobile site or nothing it's been like this forever fix it make it more simple or something so it runs properly but it loads crappy

Yeah. It's super slow. I have gigabit internet and when using HD I feel like I'm back in the dial-up days sometimes.

It used to run a lot better, and faster, before they updated it to the way it looks now a few years ago. It was also easier to navigate.

yes it's been like that for a long time my advice would be not to even fix that website cuz I know that they've tried. it's just garbage. I would build a new one from the ground up probably using a different company.

I went on there today to see if they have any miniature aircraft parts for an old furion 6 i have. I can't even get through two pages on the site it is so non-responsive. helly direct close your web page site fire whoever takes care of it or builds it and get a new one . it is so hard doing business and trying to shop on a website that sucks and runs awful

Strange as the site seems to work fine for me. I just tried now and browsed some kits and parts pages without issue. I've never gone through a checkout though.

They are a great vendor, they have done nothing but treat me royally. But in the interest of helping them stay competitive, I'll add my voice in the hope that they get the message: The online tools are bad. Slow, doesn't size correctly to Ipad screens when you hit menus, overall kludgy. Also; why have you added the "shipping insurance" as a default selection that adds a couple bucks to even small orders? Several times I had to go back and figure out why the final price was off, and then discovered I had to uncheck the insurance box. Reminds me of the insurance offered by car rental companies; you seldom need it. Again, great company, I will continue to do business with them, but please take these comments to heart.

Yes I agree completely, HeliDirect is a great company and are a good asset to the hobby. They are always present at IRCHA which is awesome so you can get parts there and even though they didn't bring their store to IRCHA due to COVID, they did have a canopy and brought orders to IRCHA 3 or 4 times a day for people to pick up. Really awesome of them. But the website needs some serious improvement. I'm not gonna lie I have on multiple occasions been trying to shop on HD and given up and went to another shop simply because the website was being so annoying to use, running slowly (even more than normal), etc.

i feel exactly the same. I have a close tie to heavy direct since they were about 30 minutes away from me since the beginning . but I'm just so frustrated with their freaking website and trying to shop there that it comes to me having to post this

was on that site today still not responsive runs like shit ..I wonder if anyone from helidirect read this forum?can't log in I know there's other posts about that can Bill use the site to begin with I know I must have like 1500 points on that place cuz I bought a crappy T-Rex 650x from them. you're a web-based business with a shitty running website period makes no sense??? like I said you should shut down that website fire whoever designed it and stopped from fresh

helidirect your website still sucks... was just on it seeing if it improved it all so I could order something and it is such garbage they have made no attempt to fix their website . so of course I take my business to another place.what pisses me off is I know I have a ton of points there from before it probably don't even exist now because of the website such garbage and they've renewed it a bunch of times and I can't even log in because their page sucks

so I went on to a desktop computer and website kind of works but unusable with a phone everyone else's websites work with the phone just fine... helidirect app seems to be working ok for now.

Like others have said Route shipping insurance is something you should have to click on not click off. I have sent the owners several nice emails about how horrible the website is. Also sent suggestions to how to fix it.
