6250 SAFE mode question
Can the safe mode be put on a separate switch instead of the FM switch?

It can be assigned to any switch you want.

Technically this could be done but not recommended because many non safe settings are are also tied to the same FMode channel.
Currently I run no Stability modes enabled and when I do want Stability mode I just press and hold the panic button. You can assign the panic mix to whatever switch you like, panic and stability are very similar. I am adding Panic->Envelope and Panic->Yaw Rate settings in the next release so panic can be adjusted to suit your preferences. Regards,
