![]() I did read in another thread that a PC interface for setup was being worked on and the expected release was meant to be end of September.
I’m interested somewhat in this unit, but it would need to have this for me to consider it further. Any more info? |

![]() Not heard about this, I am guessing you have a older Gen 1 radio that can't do forward programming, otherwise the set up on it is super easy using a Gen 2 or above tx.
I hate PC programing that is why i love this unit and always used the AR7200's before this.

The reason I also like PC programming is 1/ larger screen and 2/ often these PC setups often provide an explanation for each setup point. It was Brian from Spektrum who did mention this. If I was critical of this unit, it would be the need to buy a lead in order to do updates, and I’m not sure why it could not be done over the air and or just have a USB port in place. The Forward programming is great, but I’d much prefer to use it for field changes rather than full setup. |

![]() Was there any mention of additional features or benefits if using a PC beyond a larger screen?
I'm new to helis and this was my first FBL and as was mentioned was really easy. Thinking back on the process I don't remember anything where a PC would have been helpful. Having seen demos of other brands that do use them I thought that the 6250 not using one was a plus. I could see how the option to do it both ways might be appealing to some though. |

![]() Windows App went out to our beta test team last week.
Currently the app allows you to adjust the parameters, load parameters, and save parameters for backup or transfer purposes. If testing goes well we should release a public beta mid November. Setup wizard and parameter templates will be added as priorities permit. My best guestimate based on current priorities is mid December for those features. Regards,

![]() I just took delivery of a 6250HX yesterday. I connected it to my PC, registered it and saw that there's an update for it, which I did not install. Beyond that, I did the setup via Forward Programming on my iX20, which was my first time doing a setup on any FBL. It was quite simple and I think you'll like it when you get your iX12.

![]() Simo71,
I am fairly sure the 1st time you use forward programming to set up the fc6250hx you will no longer be interested in pc setup. Follow the manual setup steps and after a couple of full setups it only takes a couple of minutes to complete the setup on a new model. Regards,

![]() Another feature which would be ideal is Profiles,
With profiles uses can select the size of helicopter by blade size so that PID tuning is in the ball park for, 250-300mm blade size helis. 325-380mm 400-500 500-600 700+ I’m sure this could be implemented with getting information from various team pilots and adding the feature within the setup procedure. I’m sure many would appreciate this. |

I’m going to second this feature. It’s what makes FBL’s fly well out of the box. With this feature it’s rare that i even have to touch PID’s after initial setup |

![]() The templates I mentioned would be the same thing as profiles.

![]() Hi Brian,
When the setup videos were made it appeared as though the forward programming screens were being projected from the transmitter to the large screen so that it could be shown in the video. My question is, can this actually be done. (Projecting the forward programming from the transmitter onto a large screen as shown in the video, or was that just some video magic so the process could be made easier to see in the vids) That would be awesome for us older folks to be able to project the forward programming onto a large screen. I love the forward programming, it just would be nice to make it a little easier to see. |

![]() I can take a look at vibration analysis after templates and the setup wizard.
Based on my experience a balancer is a far better tool for the job due to multi-order harmonics generated within our airframes just leading to confusion. Jezmo, the ix12 and ix20 are android based so they can project the screen image to a android based tv via screen cast (should be under settings->Display on the ix12/ix20). Regards,

![]() Not yet. There's not as much flying being done these days. I would expect it when the weather finally turns nicer.
