I use my VControl to sim now with NeXt and AccuRC but I used my DX-18 when I was on Phoenix. I've got thousands of hours between the three and have never had a gimbal issue. Not saying it can't happen only that it hasn't.

I use heli X and love the practice/learning sessions included.
I use my older Jeti Dc-16 for the sim since I got a Dc-24 but I doubt the gimbals would wear out anyway. The nice thing about using the same type of gimbals to sim is that it feels the same in actual flying, the «*Tx*» that usually come with sims have pretty lame gimbals.

I like AccuRC the best so far.
I have had a few, including Phoenix and Rea lFlight. The physics on AccuRC, IMHO, are much more realistic.

We actually just fixed that yesterday. Even though there are no 3D planes at the moment (those, along with many others, will come with V3), the available planes now all fly well and as they should with a preview of V3 physics.

Just gave some planes a try with the latest steam update and they do indeed feel a lot better. |

Accurc worlds/field need extensive work before it can be in the running. Also the physics are easy mode. RF ftw

I mostly fly with AccuRC. I do enjoy Heli-X also. |
