Default Sealed bearings

So who here has ever used a sealed main bearing in a OS 91 or 105?
I know it is not the way to go but i read on a different forum in a post some years ago that someone experimented with sealed bearing with good results.

Tried to contact that person but haven't got any reply.

Best way is to get some more centre glide bearings made but i
was really wondering about this

I've been using a metal shielded bearing in an OS .55hz. Haven't flown it much but didn't notice anything bad. I used a set of bearings from Boca Bearing that were specifically for the .55. I'll have to pull the back cover off the engine to see if all is well at some point but my nitro's aren't being flown much now due to the cost of fuel.

If you look at it purely from a dollar angle the center glides make no sense. What you have to look at It the time to drop, dissemble, swap bearings, reassemble and get everything ready to go again. To load the heli in the car and head to the field with peace of mind you won’t have bearing issues again. Centerglides are completely worth the money.

Yeh, and they have lifetime garantie. So from 60 to 120 they have all the same bearing size. Simply replace this CGB to the new engine one's the old one is worn out. These bearings won't, worn out. I live in a salty environment and fly with 23% of nitro for 4 years now and zero bearing problems. Before i have to change 2-3 times a year.
