![]() Hello I buy the carbon tail
And now install the boom on the helicopter I have some play up and down What can I do to remove the play I read about the problem whit left right play off the boom And use some tape But what to do whit play up and down Last edited by marco.m; 11-23-2020 at 02:47 PM.. |

![]() One solution I’ve heard overall is to lightly wax the frame of the heli and put a coating of epoxy like JB weld on the boom where it meets the frame. Let it cure and you have a perfect fit.
The goal is not to glue the boom to the frame with the epoxy, but to take up the gaps. That is why the frame needs to be waxed well.

![]() Yep, I came up with that solution, and my Fireball has been rock solid since then. I used silicone for the lubricant, but wax would also work fine.
