![]() Hi,
I'm working on a 700 size Augusta 109 with retractable landing gear. I had given up for a while because I couldn't find a way to slow the blindingly fast retract servos. I stumbled across this on eBay today. Does anyone know if this is what I need? It's the "New Turnigy Servo 3 Channel Speed Slow Down Speed Retracts Direction Regulator". Link is: https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Turnigy...8AAOSwKrxUakC7 Thanks, Jaime |

![]() Most radio systems allow you to change the speed of a servo output.

![]() Since you have a number of channels free, it would even be possible to adjust the speed of each retract, if you have enough connections available. I try to find videos on YouTube that show the full size in operation, that way, if I have the ability to run the gear so that they are slower on one side or different from main to nose, then I stand a good chance to do so. I have only one helicopter with wheels and this is a small 450 size A109 with independent speeds on the nose and mains. That is all done through the servo speed option in the servo setup menu. Hope this helps.
Don PS: It's a lot cheaper than a timing box, lol. |

![]() Just adjust the servo speed in the radio, no need for more weight...

![]() I don't know about Your Futaba Tx, but Spektrum tx (DX8) offers a "Sequenzer". You can run a programmable pattern with 5-point different speeds foward and another 5-point different speed pattern backwards.

![]() I had a single-channel Turnigy slow-down circuit on my retracts. Worked fine and has very little weight.
