Anyone here pre-order from AMain? According to their customer service they have not received any kits.

EDIT:
Customer service gave me an update. They have the kits but have not checked them in. Shipments should go out in a day or two (AMain customer service is awesome!)

That's bull. They had to have had them for some time. Pretty sure HD had theirs for a while and was just waiting on the go button just like everywhere else.

Pretty sure tracking numbers are popping up everywhere today.

Like this? I don’t think yellow and orange is gaudy.

If you guys are worried about visibility, it wouldn't be anything to wrap all the carbon frames for more color/contrast/effect... whatever you can think of really.

I’ve contemplated running some LED’s on the Carbon frames to add color.
Powered directly off a spare port on the FBL.

Prob won’t see them In daylight though,

I also have some reflective tape that should shimmer in the sunlight, can’t hurt to try! !

Trust me, my quick phone edit representation looks far worse than anything you could do in person ...but if it helps, Iím glad.

The first thing Iím going to do is make stencils out of the stickers in an effort to cut my own. I plan on making mine all orange but will be doing so by hand and not sure if my skills can stack up. Watching the build video with all the holes, etc., it might be a challenge. Plus I donít even know if the wrap is flexible enough to cover all the curves in the canopy without wrinkling... maybe I should try the canopy first now that I think about it.

Either way, no rush on this build.

What do you use for the wrap?

Only thing I would consider coloring is the upper frame sides. Do that and it would make up for the lack of color where the canopy would ordinarily be.

Is there any rumor about optional upper canopies which covers both upper sides?
I'm waiting for it to buy, if they release I'm going to buy but if they not then I'm not going to buy it

My guess is the Kraken is intended to fill this void.

I'd bet the Kraken canopies bolt right on if you put the mounts on.

Yeah, maybe if you cut the bottom off the canopy - lol.

I could be wrong but it does not look promising IMO.

Covering up the sides with wrap or colouring the black parts sort of defeat the interesting look of the Raw.

I think for those afraid of the visibility the yellow boom would be best and/or a more visible blade rotor with for example the new Rotortech ultimate blades

I agree. If you're concerned about visibility, just don't buy the RAW

Nice idea. I have a ton of florecent Oracol vinyl sheets to do just that.

A RAW with a colored boom would probably be more visible than a Kraken 700 (red, can't really speak to yellow/blue, but blue is the absolute worst color next to black). Lately, I would say if you're concerned about visibility at all, don't buy a Goblin. The 580E/N were horrible IMO. Saw many complaints about them disappearing in low light conditions.

The two most visible helis I ever owned were the standard G380 in both stock yellow and bright red. The G500S wasn't too bad. After that, the trend started getting darker - the 420 you may as well flown with no canopy and black boom - hated it and had to get a custom painted canopy. Anyway, the older Goblins popped in the sky and they had tremendous presence. Nowadays they mostly suck for color choices. The design guy needs to be fired. I don't fly extremely close to me and keeping orientation at any kind of distance is near impossible with dark colored paint schemes. I plan to try the RAW with a colored boom and if I like it I may keep it. If not, it mostly likely will be my very last SAB heli.

Think it has anything to do with the matte finishes?
