New 230 Smart

I got my new 230 Smart, after 2 months from pre-order, but the new IC2 connector used is not available for purchase until May from Horizon. I took an EC2 & filed down the external demensions (.020" per side), of which it fit & I got power. Binding ain't rightly goin so we'll to my DX6i. When I try to pre-flight, the collective is reversed, with bird trying to fly into the ground. Is this the connector, the bird, or possibly my settings? Tried two Spektrum radios & several different attempts with the same outcome. Wierd: binding requires flipping bird upside down in the process. What's y'all's experience and/or thoughts on this here deal?

Hi,

the Dx6i pretty much is a dead horse.

This TX doesn't have a 3-way flight mode switch nor telemetry.

And the haptic is not the greatest too.

Don't waste your time trying to program helis which require Airware firmware with obsolute transmitters.
Or you need to come up with hacky Pmix solutions for yourself.

SMART battery/Esc but then without telemetry...what the heck.

Beware of the timer bug!
Don't corrupt your lipos! They are more expensive than this thing.
