See your point there. I need to be a bit smoother my movements are a bit too heavy handed as I see it.

Will bear with it and gain more experience. Going to get the nano out tomorrow.

Hoping Thursday I can finally fly the 230.

On the sim I’ve been dabbling with 3D but that’s a way off her. Can’t even do basics 🤣🤣

It's important to get the basics sorted first - everything comes from that. So learn to hover in one spot, tail in, nose in and sideways. Once that comes naturally, start learning to drift the heli left and right and then back to the central hover. Then expand this left and right drift into figure 8's, and circuits. After that you can start practising the 3d stuff :-)

Good luck with the 230! I'm expecting my new Oxy 2 2021 edition kit to arrive tomorrow. Hope to get it built in time for the spring!

I would also recommend doing the hover promenade in training.

And I will also mention that the latest updates for Heli-X really make it fly well. Well done!

One thing I started doing on sim to speed up the process of learning nose in was to situate the heli nose in and take off like that.

Later I felt at ease doing it on the X3.
