Most will recommend the R-XSR. You can use with either ACCST or ACCESS protocols. Tiny, inexpensive, redundant, and reliable.

Yeah RXSR is great. It doesn’t come with the servo style connectors so you will have to do your own crimping or soldering possibly. Probably depends what you connect it to.

It doesn’t support OTA, so if that’s something you care about look at the newer receivers like Archer, but those are all ACCESS I think.

OTA is over the air, for updating the receiver firmware or other devices wirelessly using your transmitter.

There is an SBUS out which is a single line output that is meant to plug into flight controllers that support the SBUS protocol. The RXSR works for any size. It’s a full range receiver.

OTA Archer receivers do updates “over the air” and don’t need a cable connected for updating. As far as the number of channels available SBUS is the way go.
EDIT- I type too slow, I see it’s been answered already....

I could run this in my goblin 700 gasser and trust it. I heard frsky is doing great job past 2 years. But I’m new to frsky. It’s in mail as we speak. Not to many setup video on YouTube yet on x10. I hope to get things right before I fly. I’m very thankful for all the info I get. Thanks
