Arrow Welp,

Welp,

I found this thread VERY helpful and helped me decide to NOT buy an NX or an iX radio as I had been planning. I am a lifelong SPEKTRUM user… My “newest” radio is a very solid DX8 Gen 1...And I have had plenty of their radios before that one. Why haven’t I spent money on a newer model? Because SPECTRUM hasn’t provided enough reliability, value for money nor must have features with the newer radio models. DX8s & 9s were the last models you made before you designed accelerated obsolescence into the radios.

SPEKTRUM … For your consideration:
Build an updated radio as solid in performance as your DX 9. Make the fit and finish as high-end as your current high end models. If you have to sacrifice a couple bells and whistles for reliability and battery life… Please do so. Be less concerned about making a proprietary Spektrum “walled garden” ecosystem.
Take a few lessons from Radiomaster’s TX16s Pro Max series and one up them… Or better yet - five or six “up” them.
Don’t put it on your customers to do thorough BETA testing for this new model. It’s really unfair to your loyal customer base.
Make a product so good and with such high value that you won’t have to pay people to give it positive reviews.
