Well done!
It kinda sucks that you have to go to such lengths with mixers and defining channels as switches to make it work when they could just have custom curves, as well as this just straight up not working on the OG radios (my DX8 can't do this), but at least there is a way for some Spektrum users now.
xmlnoob and flatsixfan like this.

Hi! I have a spektrum dx9 and I am trying to solve the deadzone problem as you put in the pictures.

I have a problem, what to do to get those values? I am unable to put the values of -1 and 1 in AIL and ELEV that you have in your screen, how should I do it?

Thank you very much for the help!

All of the radios. It’s an issue with the heli not the radio.

It's not a 'fault' as such. It's just that some people find the M2 and M1 a little slow on response around centre stick. I've seen some testing that indicated this was due to the flight controller having a lot of exponential programmed in, rather than a 'dead zone' but I havent proven it one way or another personally.
I have tried Jonas' 'dead-zone fix' curves and for my feel the 8% offset was too much, I found 4% felt better for me. But these things are down to user preference.

How do you use the sequencer in a DX9 to add the 0.2 second delay that is needed before the positive pitch kicks in?

Yeah, the FC is developed by a 3rd party so it's not very easy for OMP to go in and fix it. It's easily resolved through the Tx though, with the only exception being ancient Spektrum V1 radios.

I threw in some negative expo and called it good. That may not be the recommended solution, but I was in a hurry and it did what I wanted.
