Default jeti w/vbar telemetry options

currently i am using jeti tx/rx, ikon flb, a hobbywing 130A ESC and enjoying the telemetry it provides. namely:

during flight
- mah consumed
- headspeed rpm

after flight
- event logging
- vibration analysis

i'm looking at a vbar neo fbl as an potential option, but i am unsure how to get the same or similar telemetry from a vbar setup.

what would i need to get this to work?

if your telemetry is working with your setup, keep using it.. the hw/vbar setup is sketchy.. it works for some and not for others.
your not gonna gain anything from switching.

you are on Jeti... and as vbar/Neo does not output any telemetry values to anything else but VBC(t) you will not have any telemetry from vbar/Neo. and as HW130A does not "speak" Jeti EX/Bus telemetry - you will not have any esc telemetry too (this is done by your Ikon/Brain today i guess?).

as long as you are using Jeti Tx/Rx (excellent choice btw )... the best options available imho are Spirit RS / Spirit 2 and Ikon/Brain2. all of your wishes above are included... including a wide support for various esc telemetry options.

Besides the telemetry you are currently enjoying, you also have 2-way integration between your Jeti radio and iKon2 FBL unit. Matching your Jeti radio with a Neo would be a step in the wrong direction compared to what you already have.

you are right. the telemetry and integration i have now is great.

i was just wondering if it was possible to try some other FBL systems, like Neo and Futaba's 760 unit without losing too many features, but it doesn't seem so.

thanks for the all the information.

The only other FBL unit I would recommend to you as a Jeti radio owner is Spirit, especially the Spirit RS model, but the Brain2/iKon2 are excellent units.
