Your top head speed should be at 80% what is your gearing on the helicopter? The pyro 750 has great power.

There are 4 kv versions of the the Pyro 750 motor. Your head speed will be determined by the motor kv, the pinion you chose, and your battery cell count power system. Do you know what head speed you are getting at your 75% throttle?

You mentioned Mode 10. That is stick programming for the BEC voltage. I believe most folks use either a ProgUnit or ProgDisc to program the BEC voltage as well as many other parameters. If you don't already have one, I recommend you use a ProgUnit or ProgDisc to get the most out of your Kontronik ESC.

Depending on your Spektrum radio, you may benefit from a Spektrum version of the Kontronik TelMe telemetry module.

Besides your gearing, please review your procedure for mode 1 and then mode 4 set up. You did do a mode 1, right?

Default Haven't gotten a single notification from this thread. Sorry.

I did yes do a mode 1. Unplug. Mode 4. Unplug. And I set my bec at 8amp. I now run a 23 t pinion. The head speed is a bit too much but I do get good punch out. I'm just now worried in the other direction. Do I have enough potential on board to fly like that. Am I risking my motor, esc, or putting to much strain on my packs?

Default Popwer

The dictionary defined popwer: a skin tight suit made of pop corn worn for good luck when they ask a question in a thread important to them . It is also supposed to ward off people who read an entire thread just to point out a misspelling. My popwer is at the cleaners though. Dam!
blarks and xoexoe like this.
