Default rotor speed telemetry with Jeti

I have a Jive Pro 120, TelMe Jeti and Jeti DS24. When I set the Head Speed RPM using the K-Config I am unable to get the transmitter to display the head speed, it will display the motor RPM.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

You have to make sure you set the gear ratio and pole count in k-config otherwise it will just show motor rpm.

What he said. Out of curiosity, what FBL are you using?

Exactly the same "problem" and setup my side until I read somewhere that the ESC and Telme only ever send the motor rpm which in fact is the actual measurement it is taking.

To get the main rotor rpm it would have to do some calculations which then means it is not sending you the actual readings it is taking so I somewhat agree with the approach.

In any case to solve it use the LUA script "RPM to Headspeed" from https://www.rc-thoughts.com/lua-hub/ which is from our renowned fellow "Freak" called TeroS

It works a charm

Kontronik Tellme’s only send raw rpm data ie motor rpm, the radio telemetry system must calculate rotor rpm for telemetry by using a user inputted gear ratio.
