Default REX rcvrs

First time user of a REX rcvr (REX7) and having issues being able to change to EX Bus to be able to work with my FBL (MSH).

Going through the bind process, I put power on E1, plug in bind plug and it binds no problem. Leaving things set like this, I go to model-device explorer and I can see the REX7. When I select it, the little menu option to change to EX Bus doesn't show above General Settings where it would normally be. I am able to change the output period to Auto.

Is there some sequence I screwing up? This whole thing is not helping my 2-day long migraine, lol.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Go to alternative pin config. Exbus will be there.

I was able to change E2 output to EX Bus and things work with rcvr plugged into E2. Is that the correct way?

That is where I changed E2 to EX Bus. No option to change Ext to EX Bus. For R3s, which is what I usually run, you plug rcvr into the ext port. Is that not the same for REX?

Thanks. Get so used to using one type rcvr, you make assumptions. Not safe to assume.

For the Brain2, you only change the E.. pins to Exbus Ben, so E1 and E2 only on the Rex7 👍
