Default MCPX BL2 throttle Cut and 0 degrees pitch centering

I'm using a DX8 G2 transmitter. I downloaded the MCPX BL2 file from Spektrum and installed it on my TX and bound it to my MCPX BL2. The Transmitter is using 2.08 Spektrum firmware.

I have a new out of the box MCPX BL2 that has two issues:

1. With throttle cut active and In either normal flight mode, stunt 1 or stunt 2, at 1/2 throttle stick the blades are not at 0 degrees pitch; it's about 2 degrees positive pitch; Normal mode is off further than stunt 1 and stunt 2.
Should I adjust the the linkage to obtain 0 degrees pitch at 1/2 throttle stick?
What is the correct method to adjust O degrees pitch?

2. After hovering in normal mode and activating the throttle cut switch the heli doesn't cut the throttle until after 1 - 2 seconds. Also, after hovering the heli in normal mode and setting it down and going to full down throttle, the throttle won't cut until after 1-2 seconds. Is this correct? I haven't tried stunt 1 or 2 to see if it happens in those flight modes.

Ok, I solved the throttle cut delay issue by setting throttle cut to the same switch as my Hold switch, and setting the cut value to -130.

However, I still have a 1-2 second throttle cut delay while in Normal Flight mode and after bringing the throttle stick all the way down.

For throttle cut, you need to calibrate your low throttle endpoint. That's why TH works but regular low throttle does not.

For the pitch, just adjust each of the three servo links an equal amount. That should do it. Mine was also about that far off at mid stick.

Thanks BaconRaygun. How do I calibrate the low throttle end point?

I don't have experience with your specific radio, so I don't know the menus... but there should be a sub-menu that adjusts endpoints for each channel. Consult the manual for your radio if you are not sure how to get to that sub-menu.

Thanks BaconRaygun. I set the low throttle end point value to +130 and that solved the issue.
Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.
