Default Safe Panic Recovery Configuration

I have two heli's with the 6250, a TRex 550e and a Blade 450X. For the TRex, the swash goes up to introduce positive pitch (DFC) and for the 450X the swash goes down to introduce positive pitch. With the 450X, the pitch "servo" is reversed in the transmitter to achieve the desired effect. Both have a mix of GER>Gyr with a Rate of 125%/0% and an offset of -100% on switch I in the "on" position. When pushing switch I, the TRex blades go positive pitch, as they should, but on the 450X the blades go negative, and the heli just drops real fast. Both fly just fine and I have "Safe" mode to be active on switch A for both heli's which seems to be working fine as well. Any insights on what I might be doing wrong?

"For the TRex, the swash goes up to introduce positive pitch (DFC) and for the 450X the swash goes down to introduce positive pitch"

Per Setup step 1 in the fc6250hx manual "The FC6250HX requires the default new model transmitter configuration. All channels, other than throttle, must have Reversing set to Normal"

The best way to fix this is to reset to defaults on the fc6250hx, ensure your transmitter settings match the criteria listed in setup step 1 and just run through the setup step by step to ensure the system is setup properly for your helicopter.

Default Assigning SAFE Mode to Switch A

Going one step further, I have assigned the FM channel to Aux 3 and Switch B. I see how I can assign SAFE mode to say FM0 or Normal. Is there a way I can turn on SAFE using switch A regardless of what flight mode I might be on switch B? I would like to be able to toggle on/off SAFE while in NORMAL, if I choose. Is that possible? Essentially, I donít want to always be in SAFE mode while in NORMAL mode. No need for SAFE mode in Stunt 1 or 2.

Keep it simple, what I do is;

Leave stability mode disabled, set Fwdprg->Setup->FM Channel to Inhibit (unless you need separate gains for each flight mode) and use the panic button when you want stability mode.
