Ade is the developer of AccuRC. You are asking someone to steal something from the software he has the rights to. He has been very civil considering the circumstances.

PhoenixRC is dead. It is not maintained by the original author. It’s not possible to get a legitimate new seat because the existing software is locked to a dongle. (There are illegal clones of the dongles available AFAIK).

Please do not promote this type of behavior here.

The .blend and UV files on the website were intended for the custom canopy texture feature in V1, they only contained data of the canopies of the respective model. They would be mostly useless for your intentions anyway.

People like you are among the reasons we axed that feature, as we would see our canopy meshes pop up in other sims from time to time.

We put days and weeks into our models to bring you absolute top notch quality AccuRC helis. Trying to steal our work not only hurts us, but everyone who supports AccuRC.

Please stop.

You weren't attacked, just mildly reprimanded. You've learned. Intellectual property can be tricky, and you didn't know you might be crossing a line. Now you do. Live long and prosper.

I can't understand why people are still interested in Phoenix! It was OK in it's time, but it's been surpassed by modern sims, and of course it's no longer supported. The physics in AccuRC are much, much more realistic and true to life I think.

Phoenix is the only sim which people can create their own models and also mod/rescale existing models. Theres much more adjustability and it flies close to real models if you spend the time working it out.

AccuRC has a much more advanced flight model, we model all the servos linkages etc.

AccuRC is MUCH more realistic than phoenix.

Went bust likely because of bad business model of free updates forever. As soon as helis slowed down as a hobby because of drones and other things there were less people looking for a sim so income would have dried up.

Interesting take, Steve,
AccuRC, neXt and Heli-X all use the same model.
.
Methinks the reason was elsewhere... (I have Phoenix and NEVER use it - even when it was the only SIM I had, I rarely used it).

Ade's comment about Model-T vs Tesla, while hyperbolic, is nevertheless on the right path...

Got me wondering so asked google. Apparently phoenix was acquired by HH who also had real flight which charged for upgrades vs phoenix free so one would have been generating more revenue than the other. Sales were also down so got chopped.

They may use the same model, but that's not to say that they'll remain financially viable for ever. Free updates in a niche market means your cashflow will eventually dry up.

phoenix did not go bust, their global distributor, horizon dropped them when they took over tower hobbies and in doing so got Real flight. Their dongle based authentication made it impossible to change their business model.

Using Steam allows us the flexibility to go to microtransactions should we eventually saturate the market, I don't see this happening for a very long time though, the RC market has a lot of new people joining and old guys coming back.
