Default Jive Pro 120 question

Yesterday I was testing a Diabolo that has a Pyro 650-103 motor, 17T pinion, (1) 7S 5000 ma.

Spooled up great, flew around, and landed. ESC, motor, and battery are warm but not hot.

Went to fly again and I had no throttle. I did have power to the servos. Once I unplugged the battery and the Jive Pro rebooted I had no problem.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Any suggestions?

Thanks

What RC system and which FBL? Are you using the JPro governor? Need a bit more info to diagnose what happened.

I observed that the throttle signal wire wrapped around the ferrite ring is chaffed and has a few strands showing.

I am going to make a new wire and see if that solves the issue.

Glad you discovered that.

Also, the Kontronik ESC internal SBECs emit signals that are within the electronic "passband" of the MEMS gyros.

This can cause severe issues with the gyros ICs within the FBL controller.

That is why the ferrite toroid is necessary.

The toroid has nothing to do with RF interference with regards to radio reception which is a popular misconception.
