Default Repair question

Is there a certified repair person in the USA ? If so, what's their contact info. One of my motor wires broke off midway and I would like to have it repaired or replaced. Also, is it recommended to just go ahead and solder it ? Is there a certain type of solder to use ? Thanks all .

Hi Fergy,

I'm sorry to hear about the broken motor wire and will try my best to help you.

A brief description on what led to the wire breaking plus ideally some photos would help tremendously to get a better idea of the damage.

Thank you very much in advance and

kindest regards

Vincent

Hi Vincent, thanks for the response. I have already soldered the wires back together and I didn't take photos before hand. I really wanted to know if that was ok before taking the motor for a test run, or should I just send it in .

Hey Fergy,

as much as I would like to help you I'm unfortunately still having a hard time trying to picture exactly what happened, where and how substantial the damage is, and whether it would be safe to run the motor.

But if you send me a pm with some more information and preferrably some photos, I'll do my best to help you.

kindest regards

Vincent
