Default Egodrift 2520HS 3560Kv

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask if someone has experience with the Tengu 2520HS 3560KV, the one made to work in 3S.

So time ago I bought one of these motors to be built into an Oxy4 Sport. The Oxy4 was running with a lynx motor.

After replacing the lynx motor with the Tengu, I fried the HW60A V4 ESC in the first 45s of the first flight. Then I thought that the ESC could have some problem and got burned.

I bought a new HW60A V4 and my surprise was that it got very hot when I started the oxy4 in the bech without blades. After 20/30s the ESC automatically activated the thermal protection. I checked all the HW parameters including timming and everything was OK.

I contacted EGODRIFT and they, after some conversations and checkings, kindly sent me another motor to test.

Once I got the new motor, I repeated the tests in the Oxy4 with the same result.

I bought another HW60A V4 just to be sure that the ESC was fine, because EGODRIFT people told me that the motors must be OK.

New tests with the new ESC and same result.... I also tried with an ALING 45A ESC from a friend, and the ALIGN ESC got fried in 20s.

At this point Im so angry and dissapointed with EGODRIFT, I asked my money back but the Official distributor in Europe ROBITRONIC is not taking care of the problem, I only got help from Vincent from EGODRIFT.

So my thinking now is that the 2520 3560KV motor has a problem, and this is why Im asking if someone has this motor running well, because I guess that they have sold many units of the 6S models, but not of the 3S models.

I hope someone can help me, I spent money in a new motor which does not work and also 3 ESC just for testing...

Sorry for the long message and hope someone can help me.

Thank you
