Default AR631 and JR X9303

This is not a helicopter related question, but I hope someone here has an answer for me.
I just bought an eflite T-28 with the Spektrum AR631 receiver preinstalled. It binds to my JR X9303 radio (upgraded to DSMX) without any problems, and I can control all servos normally. However, approximately every 30 seconds, the receiver LED goes off for about half a second, and the servos twitch. This happens with both SAFE enabled and disabled during the bind process. When I bound the receiver to a friend's iX12 it behaved perfectly normal, which tells me that the receiver is OK. On the other hand, I'm flying all my helicopter with the same radio, and I never experienced a problem with AR8000 and AR7200BX receivers. That should hopefully mean that my radio has no problems either. It seems to me that there is something to these new receivers that is not perfectly compatible with my radio, but I can't find any information on it.
Has anybody here experienced something similar, and is there a fix for this (other than getting a new radio, or installing a different receiver)?

Thanks in advance!

My guess is that the new Spektrum Forward Programming and the 1-wire ESC telemetry have something to do with it.
Spektrum is moving away from compatibility with other systems and becoming more proprietary
