Default Balanced

If the rotor blades are unbalanced will the heli shake when spooling up?

Yes, and when it’s flying!

If it smooths out, then it likely has more to do with with blade grip tightness and/or how straight the blades are to start.

If it’s smooth on spool-down then it’s likely the later…

The KBDD ones I got a way out of balance

Would figure they’d be closer but they’re not

Usually they’re pretty close

I’ve gotten Align ones that are pretty close

These are 550 btw

Do you think .2 grams would make it shake bad?

These are 550mm blades

2 tenths of a gram difference on 550mm blades and they shake pretty bad

It’s either that or a bearing or the frame where the bearing rides that’s broke

Thanks

it would not cause a bad shake, out of balance blades can cause the hellie to tip over on concreate.

If your shake is bad that maybe the thrust races are the wrong way round, normally this would show apart from a shake the blades would also come out of track when you add pitch.

Or it could be a bent spindle/shaft,

I actually got it figured out.

The tail pitch slider was loose and the tail blade was broken so it was causing the gyro to make the entire heli shake

I flys great now
