Default Any extras I should buy for Raw build ?

Hey guys

Just ordered a Raw it’s my first goblin heli and just curious if these builds need anything extras such aa grease or special tools ? This is not my first heli I’ve built aligns and synergy.

This are obviously built different reason why I ask.

Oh do they require pinion to be purchased separately? If so I like to fly fast big air some light 3D hard stops

Thanks !

Kit comes with a 21 tooth pulley for front. You need to consider what (KV) the motor you have and match up what pulley it is you will need for your desired headspeed. For example I have a 4525-520 ultimate scorp in mine I am running a 22 tooth pulley and ranging from 1800 - 2080 rpm as my range and at 2080 I am at 72-75% on governor leaving some headroom.

As far as other extras, nothing else needed as the gearcase comes lubed and you will never take that apart unless you piled up the gears inside in which case you'll be ordering alot more stuff lol.

BTW you do need grease for the thrust bearings of course as to any other build, and some synthetic or good grease for the head dampers to, standard process in all heli builds of all brands etc.

I feel like mine didn't come with servo arms....unless I missed them. I had to order the SAB ones. This seemed like a really odd thing to not have in the kit, but I can't really complain because they did give me main blades and tail blades....

Only company that includes servo arms is align with their super combo kits that includes servos..itís not common to see horns come with your kit.

The goblin swash leveler is very handy for setting zero. However, its not so great for high swash and its useless for low (its even worse if you have a TI mainshaft).

For zero pitch its really useful because it rests on the transmission and also serves as a gauge for the middle swash position.

For the initial setup, an old school over the swash leveler is best for high and low.
