Default Painting VControl

Hi all,

I need to strip down and repaint my used VControl (long story).

Has anyone done this and can you recommend paint strippper, primer, and paint that will be hard wearing but not too hot on the plastic?

To make it worse, and more critical that it's all removed, mine is the metallic paint champagne version.

I would think rubbing down the old paint to remove any damaged areas that will leave a key. Then primer to cover it with your colour coat of choice.

Primer used on plastic car bumpers ought to do the job.
Don't quote me to answer please, just add a comment.
