Default Tail frequency

I've been having tail servo problems on my Kraken 700 which i have been chasing for awhile now. It's got an R2 Xpert tail servo,I've even exchanged the tail servo for another new one.The problem is,at extreme throws left and right the servo stalls/struggles/notchy to reach it's extreme throws causing an inconsistent piro during flight and yes,i checked double checked for any mechanical tail bindings.I have the tail servo set at:
333hz/760us as suggested for that particular tail servo.I tried another Vbar Neo that i had laying around that was involved in a tree crash and the tail servo seemed to work fine, but this particular Neo keeps leaning the heli to the left during take off,so i assumed it is faulty due to crashing into a tree with my other heli.
So anyway,i put the original Neo back on the heli and now the tail problem again.I played with the tail settings on this particular Neo and no difference,struggles/notchy to reach the extreme throws.
I played with the 760us setting to 1000us at 333hz and it seems to work smoothly on the bench now,my question is:
Is it okay to use 1000us at 333hz as compared to 760us/333hz?
will i damage the tail servo and what will be the ill effects of doing so?
If i choose to leave it at 760us/333hz,the only thing i haven't tried yet is a tail optimize flight yet, because i really didn't think trying a tail optimize flight would make a difference.Again, the tail servo is new...
Thanks in advance

The R2T is the tail servo model and it has a centre pulse of 760us and max operating update frequency of 800Hz, so your setting of 760/333 is the one to use.

Does the problem you have manifest with no tail pushrod connected or only with it connected?

Never use full throw on SAB heli tails as they have far too much which leads to tail blade stalls. Only set about 30deg either way and use the default tail gyro settings in the Neo as a starting point. First get the overall gain set to the highest possible before you get the high speed wag.

.

Both,on or off.I will try decreasing the throws and go from there...
I'll report back.
Thanks Vinger

I just tried decreasing to 30 degrees as you suggested on the bench and it seems to have remedied the problem with still a good amount of throw.
I decreased it from 100 to 90 in the Vbar Neo and it's now smooth as butter on the extreme throws left and right sides.I also went back to default tail gain settings,i'll know for sure tomorrow if it works when i fly it.
Thanks again Vinger!
