depending on your tx, not sure if you posted what you have, but a scorpion tribunus or yge-t has all telemetry with ikon2 as well as other fbl's. no patches in firmware.
i usually buy used also, but either way its money well spent.
motors are motors, they either work or they dont. you dont need a 1200kv on that xl 550. 890-1000kv and a 12 or 13t pinion and your golden.. a 1200 and even the smallest 11t pinion is prob gonna have you in a less than optimal gearing setup.. will a 1200 work? sure, but why not get the correct stuff while your building it.. again, money well spent.

Suggestions?
YGE "T" series and Kontronik Kolibri and Kosmik HV-I series would be currently at the top of the food chain, followed by Scorpion Tribunus II series arguably slightly above HobbyWing Platinum Pro V4 series.

yea, the 4025-850 will work but its a little bigger than the 4020.. and i think its a 6mm only shaft. i kinda like 5mm for versatility, cause some pinions are only 5mm but the xl 550 has a sleeve i believe for the pinion so it will work with 5 and 6mm motors.
