Default AR7200BX slow spool up after throttle hold

Hi. I have a TREX 600e with the AR7200BX spektrum system. It flys fine but if I hit throttle hold to do an auto rotate it won't spin up again if I turn off throttle hold. Even giving full throttle it takes several seconds to spool up. I does not have a governor as far as I know (I bought it second hand) and I can't see any setting in the manual to check the way throttle hold affects the spool up speed. I was not in idle up mode either, so just normal linear throttle response 0 to 100. Is there a way to make throttle hold kill the power but immediately give it back if turned off? Sorry if these terms are not correct but I'm fairly new to helis. I turned throttle hold on by mistake the other day and had a fairly hard landing, even though I tried to switch it off and get power back.

I use several ar7200bx and the helis always spools up at the same speed after useing throttle hold. I think I would look at the programming parameters in the ESC.

Thanks. When you say same speed, is that fast i.e instant power on again if at full throttle, or does it slowly spool up? Will check the ESC.

You want Governor Store mode on your esc. You also want flat line throttle curves. Your esc also has a setting timer for fast spool up. Helpful with bailing out of an auto. I have my hold curve at 39%. That will make the spool up faster when the hold switch is deactivated, only during the timer setting in the esc. I hope this helps.
