Default If you could only one helicopter

Went flying this morning. Took one Logo 550 and one Logo 600. When I got home my son asked "how was you're flying?". "Good" l reply. Then he asked "which one you like better". I said "both". That got me thinking if I could only one which one would I chose. I've owned every size out out there except for a 800. No question for me, 550. Large enough for wind, small enough for tight spaces. So what would your only heli if you could only have one.

Synergy 696. I would typically say a 550 size as it is really convenient with 1 battery, but choosing one heli I would go for a 700 size. Just flies the best, handles best in the wind, autos great. I think it is the size that really does everything well.

190 to 210, I can fly it anywhere at any time.

Otherwise, something I could use a single 6S pack, no particular brand preference.

Have a 380 (oxy4m), it is a GREAT go-to heli for the backyard or the field for big-air stuff, probably flying it more than the 700s.

BUT......even if we were to lose our flying field, I believe I will always have a 700 ready to go, even if it has to sit on the shelf most of the time; have never tried a 770/800 size, but am pretty darn satisifed with 700 class..just feels right

Haven't flown yet a 700 but I love the convenience of 6S. I have to admit before I crashed it my 500 was flying better than my 570 but I still believe I would keep the 570 if I could only have one.

Probably the M2. Can fly it absolutely anywhere, any time. The Blade 150s is also a favorite of mine.

if cost isn't a factor then sure a 700 would be awesome. but in real life, a 500 seems to be the sweet spot.

From a size and takeoff surface variety, nothing I have will top my Heli-Baby on floats with a Bambi Bucket for fun. However, there is my custom Logo 690SX 6S that is tugging on my heartstrings....

Don

PS: Funny, both are 6S.

The answer varies week by week. I'll answer your question with a question. What kinda mood am I in at the moment?

And a question you didn't ask but needs to be addressed is: If you could only one helicopter [sic], glow or electric, which would it be? Same answer as before: this week, week last or next week?

Interesting question..
But I'm spoiled,

I enjoy having the choice of flying indoors in bad weather or going to a wide open field and letting it rip.

This poll, I think, is bound to be influenced by personal flying area choices rather than a preference for any particular size. There is often a distinction between that which we can practically fly on a regular basis and that which we would prefer to be flying, given the opportunity?

Default Would $$$$ be the limiting factor to just 1?

If limited to only 1 I would assume there's a reason why and its usually $$$$. With $$$$ in mind I would say the OMP M2 or M1. They can do almost anything, Fly almost any where, at a price point that's easy for many to afford.

I would rather have a heli I can crash, push my 3d skills, and have fun for next to nothing. Than have a shelf queen that I'm afraid to fly because it takes a month to save up enough to fix after a crash.

Glad this isnt the case but thats my 2 cents.

Some machines on some sizes are better than other machines in other sizes. Because Iím close to a flying field I pick 700 - Logo 700.

hands down Logo 700 would be my only heli. I've liked an awful lot over the years, but my Logo is on another level. I love that thing.

An interesting question. Makes me think about asking my wife: "If I said you could only have one pair of shoes which one would you keep?"

On second thought... bad idea, the answer might be... keeping the shoes, looking for a new husband!

If I have a club to fly at, 700.

If I don't, a micro.

My current favourite 700 is my Goblin. My favourite micro ever is the M1 - it's incredible.
