Default Vbar Neo pro and Align esc

Hi there

I am setting up a t-rex 470 with vbar neo pro, DX8 and Align esc for the first time. I have only setup older type vbars before where I have used normal throttle curves and to me it looks like I have to use governor mode with flat throttle curves and the 3 bank settings. Can anyone give me advice about how to do this? I have got everything working with the bank switching, motor switch and rescue mode but not sure how to set up this governor.
Also would it be better to use a different esc, if so which one?
Thanks

If you are using vbar control or vbar control touch, one with integration would be preferable as it makes setup a snap. YGE 65LVT + the adapter cable for vbar neo (https://www.amainhobbies.com/yge-vba...axq2kqbczxactz) makes life very easy. Don't think it will help as much if you are using some other brand of radio, however. Not sure if the integration works from inside the vbar PC software.

The stock Align ESC will work if you use the ESC governor. It does not play well with the VBar governor even if you set it to airplane mode.

There are no throttle curves in the VBar system, you set the percentage of throttle in each bank which is the same as having a flat throttle curve in old school radios.

The GOV I tab in setup software is where you set it to ESC governor and then in GOV II tab is where you set endpoints and do stick programming of ESC. After this you go to the GOV section on the front setting page of the PC software and enter the percentages you want for each bank.
