Default 4max head

Im building a new max. Kit and im unsure about head setup. Does the kit only come as fbl head or and if i wanted dfc head i have to order that extra. I dont really care for the plastc follower arms but the dfc to swash arms didnt come in my kit. It only provides the extended stand offs that im guessing bolt onto the grip arms and the followers arms. I have dfc linkage that go from grips to swash that fit my oxy 3 or oxy 4 can i use those on the max?

Dfc is not the best idea.
There is not a thing wrong with plastic follower arms.
Way more resilient in a crash.
It only comes with the follower style.

Thanks some reason i thought it came with both style head parts. Juat seemed the metal standoffs with the balls on the end that bolts to the grips were an older oxy design. Perhaps im not looking at the latest manual as well.

Nope. That should be the ones.

I've been never had an issue with the follower arms. They are stout. O did not busy link and dfc arms all their time on the oxy 4.

Was really glsd Luca did a non dfc head on the max.

The max fly awesome. Far better than the 4. You'll love it.

There used to be all metal versions of the FBL head. For DFC, in just about any crash you'll end replacing one or the other. Just an added hassle. The FBL head is very durable.

That's funny, I have an Oxy 4 and an Oxy 4 Max. The Oxy 4 had DFC arms on it but the Max had ball links. I figured the DFC arms looked cleaner, so I got some old arms from an Oxy 3 that I'd crashed, and put the DFC arms on the Oxy 4 Max. Now both of my Oxy 4 Helis have the DFC arms and after they're all adjusted, they fly great.

Looking back at the situation, I would probably have been find to leave the ball links on there, more hassle than was worth, and lots of fiddling and adjustment in between to get the collective readjusted for the shorter arms.

Was the manual that confused me as it shows the dfc arms then later shows the fbl setup that came with the kit. After looking it over the only difference is the rocker arms .im sure they will help save some servo gears.
