Default Reading data from a kosmik cool

All,
I recently acquired a Kosmik cool 160 (my first foray into the work of kontronik) running a Pyro 900. I’ve got a BEC overtemp warning on the first couple of flights. Firmware 4.17, VBCT, Telme connected to right port all neo’s and VBCT updated to latest firmware. I downloaded Data Explorer and successfully connect. The issue is that I cannot see the specific error readout (in words, I can view all on graphs).
1) What do I need in order to view a log readout of a specific flight?
2) The date/time stamp on all my flights are 31 Dec 2011, can that be changed to current date/time?

The BEC overtemp were a spurious warning and it got fixed with the latest Kontronik app for the VBCt as well as the latest firmware for the Kosmik, V4.17 which you have already. So just update your VBC/VBCt.

Thanks Vinger, I’ll see that they are updated. Any info on the log will be helpful.

The log on the SD card can be viewed with a normal text reader as well and the errors are normally logged in the beginning of the text file.

Data Explorer is flaky when it comes to reading the logs, I use Logview Studio. A bit complicated by the trick is to add Kosmik under DEVICES and then import the data from the SD Card.

Brilliant, thanks a bunch, I’ll try to get Logview Studio. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

The KOSMIK does not have an on-board real-time clock (RTC) which why all the files have the same date/time. However, you can use the sequence number in the file name to determine the flight order.

The Data Explorer can be a little challenging to use. As mentioned, the log file is just a text file so you can view it using any text editor. However, since the values in the text file are semicolon separated, you can easily import it into Microsoft Excel which makes it much easier to view/filter the data you're looking for. Most of the time I use Excel since it's the simplest and fastest way to see the data I'm looking for.

Check out timestamp 278.36 thru 278.39. Any thoughts?
