Angry T-Rex 150 loose pinion gear

A few seconds into the first flight the rotor started to freewheel despite the motor running. It fell to the ground, long grass fortunately so no damage. Inspection quickly showed that the pinion gear was missing from the motor shaft. Is this common? And with what sort of special glue should the pinion be fixed on with? It is too small to be fixed with a screw.

It happened to me once not long ago. I am not sure how common, but I put a drop of super glue in the pinion hole and pushed it into the shaft, making sure nothing else is in contact with the glue, and wiped of excess with a swab. I think anything that cures very fast and bonds metals should work.

I had the same issue, fixed with green locktite I used a soldering iron to heat a pinion a bit to dry the loctite, after that, the problem is gone.
