I'll start with the advanced settings and go from there.

I didnt have a chance to dial in my vbar before the snow started to fall (nasty wind came with it) so i'm not sure a flybarless head feel is necessarily a good thing

Sondre Fjereide flying his second or third flight on the 550- Still tuning it for his liking..

Maybe Sondre can inform us all what settings in the head he has found best for his flying style?

Enjoy!

It's the belt. I haven't bothered to use shims on the belt pulleys

Sondre, good job...did you use the Autorotation recovery setup in the Castle HV 85 at the end of that flight. If so, I sure would like to know how to set it up..You dont use Futaba radio equipment by any chance do you?

Thanks

I use spektrum, and I don't use Autorotation recovery so I really don't know how that happened. hehe I think it was just a very Low throttle stick in Normal mode

I am not running Autorotation Enabled.
All I've done is set the throttle type to Gov mode, and chosen Governor High. The Gain is 14.

Btw: The last part is actually another guy flying. The first part was my first flight that day and I was still in the crazy settings. I was just checking the roll rate and flip rate of the heli. I fixed the settings that day and it really works great now!

Default Mild Sport Flying

Got in a good session of flying yesterday.

Put in about 6 packs, and getting bolder with each flight.

Here is my Second round of Mild Sport Flights with the Outrage 550.

All you need are [ V V ] tags. Sandwich just the video ID (7-digit number) in between the tags.
