It runs hot, but runs great
We had some pretty strong winds today (5 Bft.) and it stayed relatively cool.
So i think if the air stream around the motor improves it will run cooler.
I had more than enough power to fight the wind btw.
But again, it also runs well when it's hot.
So i'm not worried about it at all.

I cut holes into my canopy in the two O's of the PROTOS and into the P and the R too.
It's barely noticable but increases airflow drastically and cooled my battery and motor down for about 10 degrees.
It works almost like a Ram-Air intake ;-)

The manufacturer states this is normal. It is well known this motor runs hot. If the heat bothers you, you can install a Kora motor. Don't touch it and go fly otherwise...

Soon there is a tailored Scorpion motor which is 880kv, it is awesome. Much more power than stock and runs MUCH cooler to. I will be doing a post with some FDR etc soon on this motor after abit more testing on it.
