Default Helisim setup problem

i am using the latest version of helisimrc with the dynam transmitter. i can locate and calibrate the transmitter and mapping fine EXCEPT for the throttle/collective pitch. when i first install it works fine. then somehow the settings get changed and the throttle and collective pitch curve dont work together. sometimes i have no throttle and cant lift off and sometimes i have enough throttle for lift off but no 3d. i have hard time getting back to default settings and i have reloaded different model setups but it didnt help.

i think the problem may be from minimizing the helisim and then typing on other webpages and the helisim takes the keystrokes as commands which screws up the settings. i have tried uninstalling/reinstalling to no success.

what to do?
