Where did you order from ranma? But yes in here distributor told me that he doesn't have access to belt driven version so i "had" to go for torque tube or wait till end of march until new kits are manufactured. Either TT has low volume production or they underestimated popularity of X50. As for canopies, yes they are all interchangeable as all 5 are listed in manual in parts section with green being there as well for nitro. |

Cheers bud I don't know what the hold up is but getting the kits to australia should have been a simple thing it sound like there has been a link in the chain missed for it to be taking this long.. | bluepilot2003 | All the X50 canopies are interchangeable as far as I can tell. Yup, will be ordering metal blocks from tower. I really can't wait to start building... But I am moving across the country in a few months. So I do not have the time to do it! | |

x50e wow. takes a long time to get tou country.. well if u are a thunder tiger fan, then wait for a kit.. some of the stuff on it is nice,, it is a smooth running heli... needs some tweeks ,but not a bad ship |

i'm not sure as yet i'm still waiting on my kit to be frank both thunder tiger & our importer have drop the ball on this one i'm rather tired of waiting & it's pissing me off as i have no further info other than i keep getting told they were ordered so does that mean they are on there way or they were ordered but thunder tiger are out of stock till more are made... It's really starting to frustrate me & piss me off if i don't have the kit soon i'll cancel my pre-order & get a refund as it's not worth the wait if i'm not being informed of a delivery date. |

| ranma103 | I would think so if that is the case i'll piss off the plastic canopy & use my X50N canopy that came with it's kit as i have a fusuno one for that now. But when i get the funds i want to get a second fusuno canopy for the 50E as well. | |

canopy are the nitro canopys the same shape and size to fit on the x50e?? in case something happens and the stock one breaks.id go with one of those if they fit.. |

| gwright | Just got word it is something new. The nitro kits are fiberglass and the E is plastic. Really sorry about insisting they're all fiberglass,.. the plastic is something new and with my machine being a prototype, I only have f/glass canopies and that's all that has been listed till now so I was not aware of it. | |

canopy yes if u go to towerhobbies it says "Canopy: ABS preprinted color shifting" . i think usa heli flyers sorta got screwed a bit with cheaper stuff in the kit for the same price. |

x50e i would definatly install the metal blocks. i can wiggle the bearing in the plastic ones(only highend kit on the market that comes with plastic bearing blocks ) does align still make a kit with plastic ones?i belive it was great planes idea to greater profit to have tt put them in the usa kits.. just my opinion |

Hmm i'll let you know what mine is like when it turns up it's not far off now i've got all my stuff together for it can't wait for maiden flight but i'll need to do a nice slow build so i don't miss anything with it. Cheers Luke. |

| gwright | That's really strange. I have three canopies for it and they are all fiberglass, including the new production green one. I'm absolutely positive due to the dust when dremeling. The motor I'm using is a few mm longer than thunder tiger intended, so I have to cut the top of the canopy to clear, hence the fiberglass dust. It's also obvious due to the fiberglass weave you see on the unpainted inside. | |

bearing blocks on the table have not even flown it yet ,i can grab the head and make the bearing in the upper block to move back and forth..the bearings just slipped in the blocks with no force at all..so nothing really wrong with plastic bearing blocks?? |

canopy no its a poly something of a plastic. i can slice it with a razor knife.,,the plastic bearing blocks will develop slop in short time with hard flights. |
