2. How long did it take you to get there, and how ? 2 Years, i used the simulator alot, not for serious practice, just for fun, playing around with different things.

3. How often do you have a mishap and unfortunate crash, as appose to when you first started? Whenever i have too much fun and try to get lower i crash, so far just 3 crashes from smacking the heli on the ground, 2 mechanical crashes from when i didn't know how to build or possibilities of boom strikes. I'm getting better now so i think a few mishaps are waiting for me hehe.

3. How much time have you invested on one maneuver before moving on to next? I can't really say to be honest LOL i just do whatever even if it looks like crap i just do it. I hate practicing on one thing over and over, it gets really boring. It took me about a year to do a good piro flip, before it was just hit and miss, until i understood how it worked i could not do it right. Knowing how to do is whats key.

4. How often do you fly to stay proficient and on your game? I don't get out and fly for real for a while. I usually just stay on the simulator, but once you get it you don't really need to remind yourself over and over.

5. Your choice of Heli and Electronics. I choose the Align, especially the Trex 700, it's really manueverable, easy to maintain and tons of fun to fly. I like to use Futaba radios, just because i started out with them, but JR sounds good, with spektrum i hear too much about switches and regular check ups needed. I like using JR servos, they are really fast and have the most torque in thier class( Except for thier micro servos). I also like thier smaller helicopters, i have more confidence flying a smaller one after flying a 90!

5. What advice would you give to amateur pilots out there that are anxious to learn hard core 3D? Just go out and have fun, do whatever looks good to you. Practice on the sim and you'll learn fast! The great thing about the sim is you can do things that you normally wouldn't do, so you have knowledge about what you can do, all you need is the cajones to try it.

Thank You
Armed,
