Very Nice! I see you have the 3D props on your R0sewhite Rachel, are you reversing your ESC's output to be able to utilize the 3D Props?

If so, could you please point a fellow R0sewhite Rachel owner to the correct code to be able to accomplish reversing with the ESC's.

Yes this is a special version of the SimonK 3D firmware. You can have a look at this:

https://github.com/c---/MultiWii3D/t...tgy_2012-09-30

I can't give you the firmware we are using because there are different escs and you cant
use one firmware for all of them. So it depends what you are using BS NFET and so on.

Hope this helps.

That depends on the Motor, ESC and Props you are using. You can do rainbows with simonk but tic tocs like a helicopter are not possible. It takes to long till the reverse kicks in.

There are some new escs "Ultraesc" that handles this much better than simonk but they are alos a lot slower than a helicopter.

Just think of it like a 8° Pitch helicopter with low headspeed. You can fly everything but you have to be very carefull on the sticks.

Today I replaced my first screw on my blackout frame. I ran into a tree at about 5-9 mph and 10+ feet up, Pushing my FPV abilities. This is not the first time I trimmed some trees with it.

I have about 60 flights on it and this is my 4th crash.
Damage = nicked propeller, and one plastic screw

Screw in place, and ready for a before work flight in the morning

Wooow that blackout Mini H frame is so small, you can fly it virtually anywhere.

I liked it a lot.

Small and lite = no to little damage in crashes. I have hit branches and landed upside down many times with no damage.

Although it's small it flies like a bigger rig.

Full size FPV gear. Cc3d. 2s 1500mah. AUW 360g. Flying for 5:00 and putting back 65-70%. I can't complain.

You have to realize it's an all carbon fiber frame, so yes the cost of this durable little machine is going to be more than anything made of just plastic and fiberglass.

It's well worth having a quad that can take a hit like this can, just put on a new prop or two and keep on flying....

You could build one for less then Blackout's full package.

Get the Mini H Frame from Blackout $150
add in some blades, plastic crash parts... Your at $200

Motors, ESC's, and a MultiWii SE v2.5 from RCMart for $100
~ ZMR 1804 (2400KV) $9x4 = $36
~ RCX 12A ESC (SimonK) $8x4 = $32

2x Battery (NanoTech 1300mah 3s 35c) and connector and or receiver from Hobbyking $50+
Pilot Camera and vTX from http://www.surveilzone.com/ $100

By not getting the best name branded gear you can put one of these in the air full FPV geared up for 400-450. Granted... It may take 4-6 week to get everything delivered, but you are saving money.

But you will have something designed for FPV, that flies great, that's as tough as nails. for less then a DJI F450 w Naza M lite with no fpv gear.

My total cost was a little higher as I got the CC3D fc, T-Motors, and ImmersionRC vTX, but I would fly the above rig I just spec-ed.

+1 to the thing can crash and fly away, I have done it more then once.

Things that break in a crash on this frame... blades and plastic screws. That's all I have had to replace so far <knocks on wood> but you know the old saying... Mileage will vary. i fly over grass and not concrete or blacktop.
